Grandmama,
I knew that you have been suffering from diabetes for quite a long time, but you have been controlling your diet and lifestyle stricter than the rest of the diabetic patient. You always look healthy. You’re always cheerful. I am happy whenever I saw you. When I’m still a little kid, you took care of me when mum goes to work. Although time passed by, but those memories are still fresh in my mind. You bathed me, you cooked for me, you feed me, you brought me to the market every morning, you brought me to the park, you played with me. I know that I have not been a good child… I climbed the trees, I caught tadpoles and feed the chicken, I played in the wrecked car. I’m sorry if I caused any trouble to you. Forgive me grandmama.

When I had decided to further my study in Russia, you gave me some money and told me to buy something with it, and I did…. I did buy a pair of sneakers… I’ve been using it all this time… that’s my favorite sneakers. I am glad that you are proud of me.
